It has been a while since our last vacation outside of Germany the end of the summer and the beginning of fall we decided to spend a week in Bled at the border of the Triglav National Park.
It’s a lot of first times on this trip.
First time Slovenia, first time still during main vacation time and first time only having Nikon’s Z mount lenses with us and no lenses from Zeiss.
Relaxing and hiking is still on the main things to do and photography is second. Yesterday, after 9 hours on the road we hiked into the city of Bled from our accommodation which is roughly 2.5km one way to walk. After having an early dinner we walked back and initially I wanted to photograph the sunset in Bled. We decided to skip that and instead as the skies were mostly clear have a short walk up to aim for the Milky Way. Conditions were not perfect with the moon in front of us.
This morning we hiked through the wonderful Mostnica gorge (6k) and in the afternoon another 5k walk to a crowded waterfall area.
