I am currently visiting northern Illinois during a two week’s business travel to our corporate headquarters and since I simply can’t travel without photo equipment and nature is always good retreat to relax from work I decided today after a long day of working in the office to drive to Chain O’Lakes State Park which is about 40 minutes from my hotel. When I left the office it poured and I hoped to get some thunderstorm images but it cleared and the mosquitos found their way to me as well. However, I enjoyed the quiet time only or mainly disturbed by the lovely sound of the sandhill cranes other birds and a small breeze.
